Andy Slater has over 20-years’ experience in the International and UK Rail industry, specializing in program and commercial management. Using his combination of his commercial and technical skills he has sat as a Board Member of Transport Operating Businesses, providing strategic advice on complex issues. Andy also has international business development experience having bid for, won, and executed contracts in Europe and North America.
Andy joined TXM Group in 2020, to set up and lead TXM Consult. Initially starting in the UK, expanding into Europe and North America in January 2021.
Prior to joining TXM Consult, Andrew held the position of Business Director at Amey Service Ltd for four years. Prior to this, he held the position of International Rolling Stock Director for Eurostar International, where he introduced the fastest train in the UK, Siemens e320 Velaro train. Andy has delivered some of the most prestigious fleets into the UK, including the ALSTOM Pendolino fleet where he led the full maintenance mobilization and then latterly led the reliability and engineering teams.
